Full Time Site Safey Supervisor (SSS) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,500 in Data Center Construction Johor - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor daily safety activities at the construction site.
• Ensure all workers and subcontractors comply with site safety rules, procedures, and requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented promptly.
• Monitor construction activities including civil, structural, M&E, electrical, mechanical, lifting operations, working at height, excavation, and other high-risk activities.
• Conduct and assist with Toolbox Meetings, Safety Briefings, and Site Safety Induction.
• Monitor workers' compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Ensure proper implementation of HIRARC, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
• Monitor and control high-risk activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved procedures.
• Carry out daily safety inspections and maintain proper inspection records.
• Report unsafe conditions, safety violations, incidents, and near misses to the Safety & Health Officer / Project Management.
• Assist in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor housekeeping, access and egress, barricading, signage, emergency arrangements, and general site safety conditions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and workers to ensure safety requirements are properly implemented.
• Assist the SHO and project team in conducting safety audits, inspections, drills, and safety campaigns.
• Ensure safety documentation and records are properly maintained.
• Stop or report unsafe work activities where necessary and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
• Perform any other safety-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Safety & Health Officer.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification / Yellow Book registered with DOSH/JKKP.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction site safety.
• Experience in data centre construction projects will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of construction site safety practices and Malaysian Occupational Safety & Health requirements.
• Familiar with HIRARC, Risk Assessment, Method Statement, Permit-to-Work (PTW), Toolbox Meeting, and Safety Inspection.
• Experience in monitoring subcontractors and workers at construction sites.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and monitor multiple site activities effectively.
• Willing to be based at the project site and work according to project requirements.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
