Role Description The Information Technology Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Yong Peng. This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT systems, including network infrastructure, hardware, and software used in daily logistics operations. Daily tasks include monitoring network performance, resolving technical issues, performing system updates, and ensuring network security measures are implemented and followed. The specialist will collaborate with operational teams to troubleshoot IT-related problems, provide user support and training, and assist in implementing new technologies to improve efficiency. The role also involves documenting IT procedures, maintaining asset inventories, and coordinating with external vendors when necessary.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Information Technology skills, including familiarity with hardware, software, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with CCTV systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse IT tools is an advantage
• Ability to communicate effectively with China-based suppliers and vendors in a professional setting.
• Candidates should possess Network Administration and Network Security skills to manage, monitor, and safeguard the company’s network infrastructure.
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide clear, supportive assistance to internal users and stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field are beneficial.
• Experience with logistics or warehouse management systems, basic knowledge of server and cloud environments, and the ability to work independently and in a team are advantageous.
