Our Client:

We are partnering with a MNC that specializes in hyperscale solutions. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Project Document Controller as part of their strategic growth.

Responsibility:

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technical records, drawings, and engineering deliverables, ensuring real-time tracking, secure archiving, and swift accessibility.
• Perform rigorous quality assurance checks on incoming and outgoing documentation to ensure strict alignment with organizational standards and sector compliance.
• Facilitate the efficient, scheduled distribution of critical deliverables to cross-functional engineering leads, site managers, and external partners.
• Maintain comprehensive digital and hard-copy repository architectures, overseeing routine archiving and data integrity protocols.
• Generate regular analytics, status reports, and audit trails regarding document control health for executive leadership review.
• Partner closely with project management teams, lead technical staff, and contractors to streamline cross-departmental communication flows and eliminate record bottlenecks.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of dedicated document control or records management experience within technical infrastructure, heavy construction, or high-tech facilities environments.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven expertise in managing Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and specialized engineering document workflows.
• Exceptional precision, keen analytical skills, and a high degree of accuracy when auditing technical materials.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, paired with effective inter-team coordination skills.
• Proactive problem-solving capabilities to identify operational gaps, mitigate compliance risks, and optimize data governance.
• Solid familiarity with industry-standard building codes, statutory record-keeping frameworks, and regulatory filing requirements.
