Full Time Purchasing Assistant - Buyer (Direct Material) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,207.99 in Unigra Food Processing Asia Pacific Johor - Maukerja

Description of position

· Sourcing for new/alternative raw material/ packaging suppliers.

· Negotiation on pricing of raw material and packaging material.

· Monitor POs for packaging material and other raw material for buying

· Managing on time delivery /tracking POs for packaging and raw material according to production requirement.

· Coordination packaging artwork with Customer service, production for approval and sending to vendors for commercialisation

· Issuing Packaging Purchasing Approval Report (PAR) for approval by Chief Operating Officer

· Follow up on raw material and packaging material samples matching and documents from suppliers to R&D departments.

· Maintain sourcing and pricing data for packaging and raw material

· Investigate root cause analysis and resolving issue on invoice non-conformity.

· Taking care of the documentation processes and documents needed to maintain direct material unrestricted in the SAP system.

· Ensure no shortage of raw material and packaging to support production operations.

· Tabulate monthly requirement with forward 3 months forecast in excel spreadsheet.

· Maintaining a healthy level of stock inventory of packaging and raw material.

· Any other related function as requested by Manager and Management

Responsibilities

Perform yearly cost savings and on time delivery for raw material and packaging to ensure security supply while being resourceful proactive in resolving any operational issues related to production and vendors

Professional Relationship

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and conveying supply chain objectives effectively.

Education requirement

Supply Chain Management / Business Studies/ Science background

Educations qualifications

Min Diploma Holder/ Bachelor Degree

Work / year experience requirement

Min 3 years of experience in buying /supply chain management.

Age

28- 38 years old

Language Knowledge

Good knowledge of oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional language will be an advantage.

PC Knowledge

Microsoft Office and SAP relevant modules

Personal Skill

Negotiation skill, Interpersonal communication skill

Pay: RM1,722.24 - RM4,207.99 per month
