YOUR ROLE
- To simulate plant assembly line capacity and equipment requirement based on forecast demand in monthly basis.
- To establish standard assembly equipment capacity by conducting process time study.
- To codify & manage standard capacity data, processing time, equipment inventory, machine types, product information & process flows in IEDB.
- To maintain LCRP data monthly especially on equipment inventory, consumption time, product process flow & information in IEDB.
- To codify new item & existing devices in IEDB and zero invalid. New item codification is the process of insert new item (rawline) such as Usage Condition, Properties, Routing and Step Types.
- To create, manage & coordinate the documentation of standard process flow chart & control plan (FCCP) in IEDB. The new flow chart will be created and be reviewed by the process engineer before upload to DMS.
- To perform time study, collect & analyze equipment utilization data, gap analysis in order to propose & drive actions for Equipment OEE efficiency and MTBI performance.
- To follow up and update the capacity projects/equipment delivery/issues/concern with Planning & CBEM IE/Planning to brainstorm idea how to solve the problem.
- To work together with NPI and Finance team to perform unit cost simulation for new device/project.
- To perform physical inventory checking for production line and cross-check with current asset declared in IEDB and SAP.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related engineering field is required.
- Strong ability to analyze complex data to identify bottlenecks and make data-driven decision.
- Skill in capacity planning, supply chain optimization, project management, critical thinking, communication and leadership.
- Experience in time study and process balancing to increase assembly line efficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advance Excel, Power Point), Power BI.
- Knowledge in programming software is an added advantage.
- Technical understanding of equipment manufacturing process.
- Ability to communicate to working level, management level with good presentation preparation.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and lead initiatives.
