* Responsible for overseeing and managing all human resource functions within the manufacturing facility. This role supports business operations by ensuring effective recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, compliance, payroll coordination, and workforce planning. The position plays a key role in fostering a productive, compliant, and employee-focused work environment while supporting operational efficiency and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Operations
- Manage day-to-day HR operations for manufacturing employees and staff.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with company objectives.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for production, technical, and administrative roles.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Support manpower planning and workforce scheduling in collaboration with production managers.
- Build talent pipelines to support operational growth and succession planning.
Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Promote positive employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
- Support conflict resolution and employee counseling initiatives.
Performance Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes and employee development plans.
- Support managers in setting KPIs and performance improvement initiatives.
- Identify training and development needs across departments.
Training & Development
- Organize internal and external training programs related to technical skills, safety, leadership, and compliance.
- Monitor training effectiveness and maintain training records.
- Promote continuous learning and employee development programs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance records, overtime, and leave administration.
- Support compensation benchmarking and benefits administration.
- Ensure accurate HRIS data management.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure HR practices comply with employment legislation and manufacturing industry standards.
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives in collaboration with EHS/Safety teams.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare HR reports related to turnover, absenteeism, headcount, recruitment, and employee performance.
- Analyze HR metrics and recommend improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: RM14,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
