Full Time REWORK VALIDATION TECHNICIAN Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,100 in Sophic Automation Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality hand soldering on through-hole components and PCB assemblies (PCBAs).
• Perform soldering and de-soldering using tools like soldering irons, hot air rework stations, and BGA rework equipment.
• Inspect soldering results to ensure quality and compliance with standards (voids, wetting, shorts, etc.).
• Identify defects such as cold solder joints, bridging, lifted pads, or misalignment
• Perform functional checks or assist in validation testing after rework
• Carry out additional rework tasks such as liquid masking, stuffing PCBAs, lead trimming, masking/unmasking, manual cleaning, repair damaged PCB traces, and mechanical assembly.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to repair or modify assemblies and components.
• Perform failure analysis and root-cause investigations
• Document rework procedures, debug findings, and test results
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and ensure all rework tools are in proper working condition.
• Always Adhere to safety and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) compliance standards.

DETAILED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Advanced/Higher Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in rework operations
• Skilled in soldering, rework (including BGA), and PCB inspection.
• Knowledge of asset tracking systems, inventory control, and operational reporting.
• Strong coordination abilities with attention to detail.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
