Full Time Research - Development Manager Jobs, Salary up to MYR 17,000 in Hiredly X Johor - Maukerja

• ⁠Minimum 5–10 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial or assistant managerial role.
• ⁠Strong experience in new product development (NPD) from concept to commercialization, including shelf life study, formulation, TDS, and product trials.
• ⁠Exposure to UHT, beverage, margarine, oils & fats, chocolate & confectionery, or dairy-based products.
• ⁠Strong knowledge in food science / food technology / formulation / chemistry (especially fats & oils chemistry).
• ⁠Experience in recipe transfer from HQ and product optimization.
• ⁠Proven experience in leading R&D teams, including coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
• ⁠Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• ⁠Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams (Production, QA/QC, Sales & Marketing, and external stakeholders).
• ⁠Strong capability in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting (statistical & technical data).
• ⁠Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science / Food Technology / Nutrition / Chemistry / Biology or equivalent.

The R&D Manager has the duty of developing new products, cost and quality improvement product. In his/her day-to-day tasks makes certain that production and manufacturing lines perform efficiently, coordinates employee efforts, and facilitates communications between management and production departments. He/she also grants that Unigra product quality can be developed to meet the relevant authorities and customers requirement.

• Lead the R&D department.
• Lead NPD processes from concept to commercialization including development, shelf life study, TDS, etc.
• Lead all development and optimization initiatives for innovative and renovative projects.
• Lead trial run processes, trouble-shooting and improvements in control settings.
• Responsible for new product development and transfer recipes from headquarter.
• Proactively design and establish R&D operative procedures.
• Responsible on product compliance with country regulation.
• Recruitment of R&D personnel.
• Establish and execute development plans, build an excellent team by retaining and growing talent.
• Identify learning opportunities and proactive coaching.
