Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring that project tasks are executed according to the project plan.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential issues or delays.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project success.
- Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans to proactively address challenges.
- Maintain regular, open, and effective communication with Project Director, including clients, team members, and senior management.
- Provide status updates and ensure Project Director are informed about project progress, changes, and challenges.
- Allocate and manage project resources efficiently, balancing workload and priorities.
- Ensure that team members are clear on their roles and responsibilities and have the necessary tools and support.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure that projects are delivered within the approved financial limits.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and Project Director, highlighting budget variances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years working experience in Project Manager position in the construction field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Location Requirement:
- This position is based in Kota Tinggi, Johor.
- Candidate must be willing and able to work in above mentioned location.
