We’re Hiring: Audit Assistant

Johor Bahru, Malaysia

We are an established Corporate Advisory and Consultancy firm, located at Menara Pelangi, Johor Bahru and are seeking suitably experienced individuals having the relevant qualifications for the following positions:

• Audit Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for clients across various industries.

Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation in accordance with accounting and auditing standards.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Perform analytical reviews and assess the accuracy and completeness of financial information.

Identify and communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement.

Support senior auditors in carrying out audit procedures and preparing audit reports.

Maintain proper documentation and organize audit working papers systematically.

Collaborate closely with clients to gather necessary information and provide assistance as required.

All candidates are expected possess the following pre-requisites:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Preferably pursuing or possessing professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA).
• Relevant audit or accounting experience is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting/audit software.
