Responsibilities
Job description:
- To initiate and perform weekly and monthly preventive maintenance program in all processing line and auxiliary equipment.
- To conduct daily audit on all rollers in good processing and operating conditions.
- To advise the production and immediate superior on any possible operating malfunction or failure of any processing machine parts that will cause machine stoppage/ major breakdown , to initiate repair/ preventive maintenance to rectify the problem.
- To maintain the processing machineries in good processing conditions, performing and carrying out close monitoring and efficient follow-up maintenance service.
- To initiate and carry out maintenance Improvement Plan on any minor / major modification on the processing machineries for improving the machine efficiency, processibility, productivity and product quality.
- To maintain the processing machineries in good processing conditions any performing and carrying out close monitoring and efficient follow-out maintenance service.
- To document daily repair maintenance and preventive maintenance jobs.
- To conduct daily audit on operating & processing conditions on all processing machineries and auxiliary equipments, and main electrical control panels.
- To advise and coordinate with Production for machine stoppage wen found critical machine parts which are malfunctioned or unsafe for operation.
- To plan and coordinate with Production for monthly / quarterly-basis of overhaul program on critical parts of all processing machineries (coating work-station / main strive shaft system / laminating work-station / un-winder & re-winder work-station / brake clutch systems / oven heaters / exhaust blowers / air compressors)
- To ensure the operating & processing conditions of all processing machineries and auxiliary equipments are complied to safety requirements.
- To implement Good House-keeping Program / 5S Program to upkeep the workplace and working tools in proper organized condition & maintain the cleanliness, and complied to safety requirements
- To conduct monthly stock count and update on all spare parts.
- To upkeep all duty and spare rubber / steel roller in good working conditions
- Weekly check on the duty rollers; Monthly check on the spare rollers.
- To report weekly on the daily and preventive maintenance.
- To report on major break-down of processing machineries and causes machine stoppage, delays etc.
- To fabricate simple production jig & fixture, racking, casing, trolley etcTo ensure office and production facilities are in good working condition i.e light s, water pipes, air conditioner , gates, door etcTo maintain the electrical wiring of the whole plant.
- To Support production when needed
