Full Time Quantity Surveyor (M-E) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,000 in LUMICO ENGINEERING SDN BHD Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

1. General Responsibilities

• Assist the QS Manager in managing and executing all commercial-related matters for the project.
• Support the implementation and compliance of quality, safety, health, and environmental requirements at the workplace and project site.
• Ensure assigned tasks are carried out in accordance with company procedures, project requirements, and applicable standards.

2. Engineering Stage

• Assist the QS Manager in preparing cost estimates and budget assessments during each design review stage.
• Review design information and provide commercial input where required to support cost control and value management.

3. Procurement Stage

• Compile tender documents and prepare tender packages for issuance to bidders.
• Coordinate the issuance of tender addendums, clarifications, and related procurement documents.
• Review bidders’ submissions to identify pricing errors, omissions, inconsistencies, or abnormal rates.
• Prepare tender price comparisons and commercial evaluation summaries.
• Assist in the preparation, compilation, and binding of contract documents.

4. Construction Stage

• Support EHS-related site operations and ensure commercial activities are carried out in line with project safety requirements.
• Prepare documentation for Change Orders, Variation Orders, and other contractual claims.
• Manage progress claim procedures, including coordination with package owners for claim verification and certification.
• Monitor commercial records and assist in tracking project cost, variations, and payment status.

5. Project Closure

• Assist the QS Manager in preparing and closing the final account.
• Ensure all variation orders, claims, supporting documents, and commercial records are properly compiled and finalized.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
• Experience in M&E works is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiar with engineering cost estimation, contract administration, and relevant industry standards.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills.
• Able to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and responsibility.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
