Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
- Assist with data entry of invoices, receipts, payments and other financial transactions
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Assist in updating the General Ledger and Fixed Asset Listings
- Perform bank and supplier statement reconciliations
- Help with transaction verification and reconciliation tasks
Financial Reporting & Month-End Activities
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, schedules and reconciliation statements
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Gather and organize financial data for reporting purposes
Budgeting & Expense Management
- Assist with budgeting, cost tracking and monitoring of expenses
Audit & Compliance Support
- Prepare and organize supporting documents for audit, filing and compliance purposes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
Administrative & Ad Hoc Tasks
- Assist in preparing presentation materials, letters, emails and other communication
- Handle administrative tasks related to finance and office operations
- Participate in ad hoc assignments and provide support as directed by your supervisor
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or a related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proactive, willing to learn and able to work independently
- Able to maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Able to commence work immediately or serve a quick notice period
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
