Key Responsibilities

Perform manual soldering (through-hole and/or surface mount) on PCB assemblies according to work instructions and IPC standards.

Assemble electronic components, wiring, and mechanical parts as per product specifications.

Operate basic assembly tools and equipment, including soldering irons, microscopes, and hand tools.

Inspect solder joints and assemblies for defects and rework when necessary.

Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures and safety protocols at all times.

Work from assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and written instructions.

Maintain production output to meet daily targets while ensuring product quality.

Report material shortages, defects, or quality issues to supervisors promptly.

Keep workstations clean and organized in compliance with 6S workplace practices.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 - 3 years of soldering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.

Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle small components under a microscope.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Basic understanding of ESD safety practices.

Physically able to sit or stand for extended periods.

Able to work in a team and follow supervisor instructions.
