Assistant Strategic Planner (Data - Reporting – Renewable Energy) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,000 in VOLTAKE ENERGY SERVICES SDN BHD Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented candidate with an interest in the energy sector to support data, operations, and strategic planning functions.

Job Scope

• Assist in collecting and developing operational performance dashboards
• Analyze raw data (generation, downtime, performance ratio, etc.)
• Prepare performance, risk, and analytical reports
• Support operational execution through milestone tracking and systematic record management
• Assist in strategic planning activities (brainstorming and industry benchmarking)
• Prepare presentation materials for management
• Provide recommendations based on data trends, patterns, and comparisons (when required)

Key Responsibilities

1. Data & Dashboard

• Collect and organize daily/weekly operational data
• Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards
• Monitor key KPIs such as:
• Risk reports
• Plant Performance Ratio
• Team movement tracking
• System Availability

2. Data Analysis & Interpretation

• Assist in analyzing solar plant / energy performance data
• Identify trends, anomalies, and operational issues
• Conduct comparisons between sites and time periods
• Support managers in resolving site-related issues through data insights

3. Operational Support

• Support coordination of technical activities and project milestones
• Ensure operational records are complete and systematically maintained
• Assist in tracking project timelines and progress

4. Strategic Support

• Conduct industry research and benchmarking
• Provide insights to support strategic decision-making
• Assist in preparing management presentations
• Suggest improvements based on data-driven analysis

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Data, or Statistics
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply
• Proficient in Google Sheets (intermediate and above)
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and statistics

Added Advantage: Experience with Power BI / Looker Studio, basic coding (Python / Apps Script), exposure to solar/energy industry
