Job Overview
As an Overseas Business Support Executive, you will play a key role in expanding the company’s international freight forwarding business by engaging with overseas agents and clients. This role combines business development, client servicing, and coordination to drive revenue growth and strengthen long-term global partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote freight forwarding services to overseas agents through marketing efforts.
- Make sales calls to find new clients and pitch logistics solutions.
- Answer enquiries from clients and agents quickly and provide accurate quotations.
- Win new business and build long-term relationships with overseas partners.
- Offer additional services like customs clearance or transportation.
- Work to grow the company’s network and revenue in international markets.
- Perform any other duties or assignments as directed by management.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international business support/sales.
- Strong understanding of international freight (air/sea) processes and global logistics operations.
- Experience liaising with overseas agents or handling international accounts is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across different cultures.
- Proven ability to handle client enquiries, prepare quotations, and follow through on business opportunities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
