Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Johor, Malaysia, for a Head of Supply Chain Management. As a proactive and experienced Head of Supply Chain, you will lead and optimize our end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations. A leader that is resilient, adaptable, and energized by the challenge of solving complex problems in a dynamic environment. You will be a key driver of efficiency and excellence, working within a matrix organization to meet our business goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategy & Operations
- Develop and execute a robust logistics strategy that aligns with our broader operational goals, focusing on optimizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
- Manage the end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment functions to ensure delivery schedules.
- Lead the strategic management of integrating various supply chain functions in the manufacturing process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to enhance supply chain resilience and performance.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team, that includes operator, officer and executive levels across the logistics, customs, planning, purchasing and order management staff. Provide clear guidance and coaching to foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Coordinate and collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time material delivery, proactively resolving issues and mitigating risks to prevent supply chain disruptions.
- Optimize warehouse operations by improving layout, storage systems, and workflows to optimize space utilization and increase pick and pack efficiency.
Performance & Compliance
- Manage the supply chain systems and technology to provide visibility and control throughout the logistics operations, securing material availability to order fulfillment monitoring and control.
- Use data-driven techniques, such as ABC analysis and cycle counting, to optimize inventory levels in minimizing stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry regulations governing import/export customs management, transportation and warehousing.
Job Requirements:
- At least -7 years of progressive experience in supply chain and operations leadership roles within the electronics industry.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Management or a related field.
- Strong command of core logistics and supply chain planning principles.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian customs programs such as the LMW license.
- Proven experience with supply chain management software eg. ERP, MRP & other planning tools.
- A strategic mindset with hands-on operational leadership experience, and the ability to mentor, motivate and develop diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners eg suppliers and carriers

Pay: RM13,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
