Position: Costing Executive

Industry: Precision Metal Manufacturing / Semiconductor Components

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Costing for Precision Components
• Develop and maintain standard costs for precision metal parts and thermal solution components.
• Analyze BOM (Bill of Materials), routing, and overhead to establish accurate product costs.
• Manufacturing Cost Analysis
• Monitor and analyze actual production costs (material, labor, subcon) against standard costs; investigate and report variances.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to understand cost drivers in stamping, plating, and heat treatment processes.
• Inventory Valuation & Control
• Perform inventory valuation (FIFO, weighted average) and analyze inventory movements (raw metal, WIP, finished goods).
• Support physical stock count and reconcile discrepancies, with a focus on high-value raw materials.
• Cost Reporting for Decision Support
• Prepare monthly cost reports (COGS, manufacturing yield, scrap analysis) for management.
• Provide cost impact analysis for engineering changes, new customer quotes, and make-or-buy decisions.
• Process Improvement & System Enhancement
• Identify and implement improvements in cost accounting processes and ERP system for better cost tracking.
• Assist in annual budgeting and cost roll exercises.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
