Job Summary

"The Robotics Technician" is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting robotics systems used for automated cleaning at offshore, Onshore and Energy Plant.. This role ensures safe and efficient cleaning of industrial without requiring personal entry, improving safety, productivity, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Robotic System Operation

• ·Operate robotics cleaning equipment, including setup, calibration, and remote control.
• Monitor real-time robotics cleaning operations using video feeds, sensors, and diagnostics.
• Adjust cleaning parameters (pressure, flow rate, positioning, speed) for optimal Performance.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• · Performance routine inspection, cleaning and minor repairs of robots, pumps, hoses, and control systems.
• · Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or software issues and coordinate advanced repair when needed.
• · Maintain accurate logs of equipment performance and service history.

3. Safety Compliance

• · Ensure all operations comply with site safety standards, confined space entry regulations, and environmental requirements.
• · Conduct pre-job hazard assessments (HIRARC/JHA)
• · Verify all cleaning waste is handled according to environmental protocols.

4. Operation Coordination

• · Collaborate with production, safety and maintenance client/teams to plan cleaning operations.
• · Assist in mobilizing/Demobilizing robotics cleaning equipment to and from site
• · Provide feedback for continuous improvements of cleaning procedures.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• · Prepare daily operational/Maintenance reports, including cleaning progress, systems performance, and any anomalies.
• · Maintain digital records of conditions before and after cleaning
• · Report incidents, near miss (n3), or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications and Required Skills

• Diploma in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Power, Electric & Electronics Engineering, Automation , Mechanical, Marine Engineering. Kolej Vocational and related ..
• -Certified Wireman PW2,PW4, or Chargeman A0-A4 from ST in an added advantage.
• - Experience in Welding, mechanical work and pump is an added advantage .
• Certificate in Industrial Safety (H2S, OSHA, Confined Space) in an added advantage.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals
• Familiarity with safety standard (OSHA/HSE, confined space, LOTO)
• Attention to safety and Precision
• Good Communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able work in industrial/Field. Onshore and Offshore and marine environments
• Technical aptitude with robotics/mechanical systems
• Adaptability in changing field conditions

Experience

Minimum 0–3 years of relevant working experience in Robotic Controller roles. Fresh grad and welcome as well.

Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning, robotics or remote-controlled systems preferred.

Basic knowledge of pumps, hydraulics and fluids systems

Experience working in oil& gas, Chemical plants, Marine tanks, or food processing tanks

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
