Aimsity is an education company specialising in technology and STEAM programs for students aged 7–17. We aim to make learning fun, engaging, and future-ready through Coding, AI, Game Development, App Development, and other emerging technology programs.

We are looking for passionate, proactive, and capable individuals to join our team as Semi-Senior Programming Trainers. This role is ideal for someone who not only enjoys teaching students, but is also ready to take on greater responsibility in guiding trainers, improving teaching quality, and supporting curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct Tech Classes

• Deliver engaging, interactive, and effective coding and technology lessons for students aged 7–17.
• Teach programs such as Scratch, Python, AI, App Development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Robotics, Game Development, and related STEAM subjects.
• Guide students through projects, presentations, competitions, and hands-on learning activities.
• Ensure students understand lessons while maintaining a fun and positive learning environment.

2. Curriculum & Content Development

• Assist in developing, improving, and organising teaching materials and curriculum content.
• Work closely with the Team Lead to ensure syllabus quality and consistency across classes.
• Contribute ideas for new projects, activities, and learning experiences to improve student engagement.
• Ensure lesson delivery aligns with company teaching standards and learning objectives.

3. Trainer Guidance & Mentorship

• Guide and support junior trainers in lesson delivery, classroom management, and technical knowledge.
• Assist in maintaining teaching quality and consistency among trainers.
• Share best practices, provide constructive feedback, and help trainers improve their teaching skills.
• Support the onboarding and development of new trainers.

4. Classroom & Student Management

• Maintain a positive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching methods based on different student learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor student attendance, participation, and progress.
• Provide updates and feedback to parents when required.

5. Team Collaboration & Operations

• Work closely with the Team Lead and operations team to ensure smooth program execution.
• Assist in managing schedules, class arrangements, and educational activities.
• Participate actively in internal training, meetings, and professional development sessions.
• Ensure deadlines, teaching schedules, and assigned responsibilities are met professionally.

6. Program & Event Execution

• Support and lead workshops, holiday camps, competitions, school programs, and community events organised by the company.
• Assist in event coordination, trainer management, and student engagement during programs.
• Represent the company professionally during external programs and collaborations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Education, Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in teaching, training, or handling students is preferred.
• Good understanding of coding or technology-related subjects.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to guide and work with junior team members.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Passionate about education, technology, and working with children and teenagers.

Bonus If You Have

• Experience in Scratch, Python, Robotics, AI, Web Development, or Game Development.
• Experience developing curriculum or educational content.
• Experience leading workshops, competitions, or educational events.
• Leadership, mentoring, or team coordination experience.
• Public speaking or presentation experience.
