Job Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting all site machinery and plant equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. This role provides in-house technical expertise to diagnose issues, advise on solutions, and support continuous operation of machinery, reducing dependence on external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and ensure optimal performance of all plant machinery and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production, including but not limited to gearbox motors, mechanical systems, and spare parts.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Perform root cause analysis on machinery breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Advise on spare parts selection, replacement, and inventory requirements.
- Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering best practices, and company procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation for maintenance activities, technical issues, and solutions implemented.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in plant, machinery, or production environment maintenance and support.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, gearbox motors, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and provide practical, effective solutions.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance to internal teams.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Qualifications in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and spare parts management.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and machinery repair.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
