Café Manager – Job Scope (Fine Café)1. Daily Operations Management
- Oversee smooth day-to-day café operations (opening, service flow, closing).
- Ensure high standards in food, coffee, and beverage presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness, ambiance, and overall customer environment.
2. Customer Experience
- Deliver a premium, personalized guest experience.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Build relationships with regular customers and VIP guests.
3. Staff Management & Training
- Recruit, train, and supervise baristas, servers, and kitchen staff.
- Set service standards aligned with a fine café concept.
- Schedule shifts and manage staff productivity.
- Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
4. Financial & Inventory Control
- Monitor daily sales, costs, and profitability.
- Manage inventory (coffee beans, ingredients, supplies).
- Control wastage and optimize cost efficiency.
- Work with suppliers for quality sourcing (often premium or specialty products).
5. Quality Control
- Ensure consistency in coffee brewing (espresso, pour-over, specialty drinks).
- Maintain high food quality and presentation standards.
- Enforce hygiene, safety, and compliance regulations.
6. Brand & Concept Execution
- Uphold the café’s brand identity (aesthetic, service style, menu concept).
- Coordinate with marketing for promotions, events, and seasonal menus.
- Ensure social media-worthy presentation (important for fine cafés).
7. Administrative Duties
- Handle reporting (sales reports, staff reports, inventory logs).
- Manage budgets and operational planning.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and licensing.
