Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Environmental Officer with CEPSWaM certification to manage scheduled waste and ensure compliance with Malaysia’s environmental regulations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining proper documentation, coordinating with authorities, and supporting overall environmental compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage scheduled waste in accordance with DOE (Department of Environment) regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation for scheduled waste (e.g., e-SWIS, manifests, consignment notes).
• Handle chemical and industrial wastewater management as per CEPSWaM requirements.
• Coordinate with DOE officers for audits, inspections, and compliance updates.
• Monitor waste storage, handling, and disposal procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
• Prepare regular reports on scheduled waste and wastewater management.
• Support the company’s environmental policies and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

• Valid CEPSWaM Competent Person Certificate.
• 1–5 years of experience in scheduled waste and/or wastewater management.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, waste handling, chemical and wastewater compliance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Pay: RM2,019.13 - RM4,000.00 per month
