Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues on Microsoft Windows platforms.
  • Conduct basic wired and wireless network troubleshooting for computers and devices.
  • Offer support via phone, email, and remote access software, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Process client service requests and escalate complex issues to Level 2 support or third-party vendors as needed.
  • Install and configure new PC hardware, software, and peripherals (e.g., printers, phones, external drives).
  • Perform profile and data migrations for Windows PCs and laptops.
  • Educate clients on product features, proper usage, and address specific user concerns.
  • Maintain and update technical support documentation, including user guides and procedures.
  • Coordinate warranty services with hardware vendors when applicable.
  • Follow up with clients to confirm resolution and satisfaction after service delivery.
  • Monitor system health, availability, and functionality regularly.
  • Track, manage, and update client computer equipment inventories.
  • Continuously maintain and update technical knowledge, staying current with new tools and best practices.
  • Flexibly support additional duties related to IT service provision when needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Higher NITEC graduates are also welcome).
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant internship or hands-on experience in IT support will be an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications, networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi), and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with basic printer and network troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong service mindset, willing to deliver high-quality support and continuously improve skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours when necessary to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Possession of IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
