Responsibilities

Job Title : Assistant Procurement & Contracts Manager
Location : Johor,Gelang Patah

Job Description:

1. Carry out cost & contract management with minimal supervision and timely manner.

2. Provide cost advice and cost planning including estimate & turnover/cash flow projections.

3. Identify areas/aspects that could further enhance the efficiency of cost management

deliverables and highlight to the relevant function.

4. To run the procurement process from all stages in pre-qualification such as quotation

enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation.

5. To monitor and verify VO, claims, payment, final account and attending project meetings.

6. To prepare claims to client diligently including any variation works. Ensure all variation

works are in accordance with contract requirement, claimed and paid accordingly.

7. To work closely with project teams in addressing & mitigating the impact for changes in

project requirements.

8. Liaise closely and provide support to the project & procurement team as required.

9. Evaluate and broaden the supplier network to meet present and future requirements,

ensuring competitiveness and minimizing supply risks.

10. To perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.

11. Actively monitors contract performance and risks and identifies appropriate strategies to

achieve contract outcomes.

12. Provide managerial role pro-actively and professionally within the organization, and

interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.

13. Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction, Project Management, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of related working experience.
  • Having knowledge and experience in MEP is mandatory.
  • Having knowledge across Cost Management deliverables including but not limited to: Cost Estimates, Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, Cost reporting, Procurement, Contract Knowledge, Change Orders and Final Account close-out is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS office applications.
  • Experience in data centre preferred.

Pay: RM4,890.85 - RM14,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
