Supply Chain Manager / Executive (Operations & Logistics)
Location: Johor, Malaysia
Industry: Renewable Energy / Biofuel / Commodity Trading

The Opportunity
*We are seeking a high-performing Supply Chain Manager to take full ownership of our end-to-end operations and logistics function in a fast-growing renewable energy and commodity trading environment.
This is not a maintenance role.
We are looking for someone who can build, control, and optimize a supply chain system that is disciplined, scalable, and performance driven.
You will be expected to operate with strong authority, high accountability, and zero tolerance for operational inefficiency or weak controls.

Your Mandate
*Take full control of the entire supply chain ecosystem — from inbound feedstock to final delivery.
*Build a structured, SOP-driven operation that does not rely on individuals.
*Deliver consistent, measurable improvements in cost, efficiency, and execution reliability.
*Ensure full compliance and audit readiness
*Act as the operational backbone of the company, supporting commercial growth with flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities
1. Total Supply Chain Ownership
*Lead and control all aspects of:
-Logistics execution
-Inventory management
-Planning and coordination
-Documentation and compliance
*Establish clear accountability across all operational touchpoints.
*Drive integration across purchasing, production, warehouse, and sales.

2. Logistics Excellence & Cost Leadership
*Own and optimize all logistics movements:
-Tankers, isotanks, flexibags, and containers
-Drive cost efficiency and margin protection through:
-Freight negotiation
-Route optimization
-Vendor performance management
*Eliminate operational leakages (demurrage, delays, losses, inefficiencies).

3. Operational Control & Discipline
*Enforce strict execution standards:
-On-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery
-Accurate quantity and documentation
-Build a high-control environment with real-time visibility of operations.
*Ensure daily operational reporting is accurate, timely, and actionable.

4. Compliance, Traceability & Audit Ownership
*Take full ownership of:
-ISCC EU / CORSIA compliance
-Traceability and mass balance integrity
*Ensure all documentation is:
-Accurate
-Timely
-Audit-ready at all times
*Lead and manage internal and external audits with zero major findings.

5. SOP, Systems & Process Transformation
*Design and implement robust, scalable SOPs across all supply chain functions.
*Build systems that ensure:
-Consistency
-Accountability
-Measurability
*Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational transformation.

6. Financial & KPI Accountability
*Own key operational metrics, including:
-Logistics cost per MT
-OTIF performance
-Inventory accuracy
-Document turnaround time
*Partner with Finance to support:
-Cost control
-Cash flow planning
-Margin optimization

7. Leadership & Team Performance
*Build and lead a high-performance operations team.
*Instill a culture of:
-Discipline
-Accountability
-Execution excellence
*Develop team capability while maintaining high performance standards.

8. Authority, Risk & Decision Making
*Act decisively to resolve operational issues and prevent disruptions.
*Exercise strong judgment in managing risks across logistics, compliance, and execution.
*Escalate critical matters appropriately while maintaining operational control.

What We Are Looking For
Experience & Expertise
*7–10+ years in supply chain / logistics, with proven leadership experience.
*Strong background in:
-Bulk commodities / oil & fats / biofuel / chemical trading
*Hands-on experience managing:
-Tanker logistics, isotank, flexibag, and export shipments
*Solid understanding of:
-Incoterms (FOB, CIF, FCA, DAP, CNF)
-End-to-end trade execution
