Full Time Electrical Technician (AO) - Chargeman Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,300 in LEADERART INDUSTRIES (M) SDN BHD Johor - Maukerja

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Knowledge of mechanical engineering, electricity and machine functions.
• Skill and ability in machining, repairing and replacing moulds and machine parts.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Must possess at least a minimum AO chargeman certification registered under Suruhanjaya Tenaga. 
• Minimum 2 years or above relevant working experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties: (Approximately 70 to 80% of daily work schedule)

• To undertake installation, modification, troubleshooting and corrective maintenance of electrical infrastructure. 
• Engage in troubleshooting on machines, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustment.
• Carry out daily solar PV system checking and monitoring.
• Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical infrastructure such as electrical switchboard, LV/HV system, etc. 
• To perform installation of wiring and power activity in premise.
• Perform general maintenance works such as utilities supply/ factory facilities and fabrication.
• Responsible to initiate, maintain and service all LV/HV protection circuit.
• Plan, organize and maintain periodical preventive maintenance (daily, weekly, month or annual) & report on irregularity.
• To supervise the work of external contractors (include TNB) and monitor their performance on all electrical infrastructure including PV solar system.
• Responsible to monitor and ensure all electrical installations and practices at the site is comply with statutory and legal requirement including solar PV system.
• To attend any emergency incidents or major breakdown when required.
• Assist in overall operations and maintenance of all electrical equipment including solar PV system.

Secondary duties: (Approximately 20 to 30% of daily work schedule)

• Provide facility maintenance supports to production department and hostel (if required).
• Perform wiring on equipment and machinery. 
• Ensure schedule and recycle waste are properly handle, control, store and dispose according to laws to prevent environmental pollution.
• Ensure the use of chemicals is controlled and the use of hazardous chemicals in accordance with environmental laws. Also, understand chemical labels so that safety, health and use of personal protective equipment is followed correctly. 
• Perform other related duties as required.
