Full Time Wireman - Electrical Technician Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,000 in TERUS MAJU SERVICES SDN BHD Selangor - Maukerja

1. Job Purpose

The Wireman is responsible for carrying out electrical wiring, installation, testing, and maintenance works on buses, coaches, and related automotive systems to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable electrical operations in line with Terus Maju Services Sdn Bhd’s quality and safety standards.

2. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesA. Electrical Installation & Wiring

• Perform electrical wiring works for buses, coaches, and related vehicles including lighting, air-conditioning, dashboard systems, sensors, and auxiliary equipment
• Install electrical components such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, fuse boxes, and control panels
• Interpret and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Ensure all wiring works comply with electrical safety standards and manufacturer specifications

B. Testing, Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems after installation or repair
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, short circuits, and malfunctioning systems efficiently
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicle electrical systems
• Replace defective wiring, components, or devices as required

C. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations, Electrical Act, and relevant Malaysian standards
• Observe all SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) procedures and wear appropriate PPE
• Report unsafe conditions, near misses, or incidents immediately
• Ensure proper grounding, insulation, and protection of electrical systems

D. Documentation & Quality

• Record completed work, test results, and maintenance activities in job sheets
• Support ISO 9001:2015 documentation and quality audits
• Maintain proper tools, equipment, and calibration records
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical works

E. Teamwork & Operational Support

• Coordinate with Mechanical, QC, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow
• Support bus refurbishment, new coach design, and modification projects
• Attend toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and technical training as required

3. Authority & Accountability

• Authorized to stop work in unsafe conditions
• Accountable for quality and safety of all electrical works performed
• Responsible for proper use and care of company tools and equipment

4. Qualifications & RequirementsEducation / Certification

• SKM Level 2 / 3 in Electrical Technology, Automotive Electrical, or equivalent
• Valid Wireman Certificate (PW2) must
• Certification by Suruhanjaya Tenaga is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in automotive or industrial electrical works
• Experience in bus or heavy vehicle wiring is a strong advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring practices
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
