Key Responsibilities Checkout Operations: Scan merchandise quickly and accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system. Process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments. Cash Handling: Issue accurate change, process receipts, and maintain a balanced cash drawer with zero discrepancies at the end of every shift. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave. Answer basic questions about store promotions, pricing, and return policies. Returns & Exchanges: Assist with basic returns and item exchanges according to company policy. Front-End Maintenance: Keep the checkout lane clean, organized, and fully stocked with bagging supplies, receipt paper, and impulse-buy items.
