Responsibilities
Our client in the communications and power industry is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a 3 -month contract. This role follows a hybrid working arrangement requiring a hybrid work environment each week at their Georgetown office.

Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant
- Lead balance sheet reconciliation cleanup, including historical data review, T-accounts, and documenting findings
- Support month-end activities, including journal entries, intercompany, accruals, fixed assets, and reporting
- Work heavily in Excel and assist with ad hoc analysis, process improvement, and data mining
- CPA Designated or currently in program, preferred
- Strong Senior Accountant profile with a mature technical accounting background
- Manufacturing experience required; JDE experience is a strong asset but not a hard must-have.
- Proactive, systems-savvy, and comfortable working in a very unstructured/start-up-like environment.
