What you'll be doing

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the sheet metal production team

2. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer deadlines

3. Monitor workflow and productivity to identify and resolve any bottlenecks or issues

4. Provide hands-on training and guidance to production staff to maintain and improve skills

5. Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards

6. Collaborate with other departments to optimise the manufacturing process

7. Maintain detailed records and generate reports on production metrics

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a sheet metal production supervisory role

2. Strong technical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and equipment

3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

4. Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets

5. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

6. Good communication and interpersonal skills

7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
