Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Senior Technical Engineer – Network (Location : Penang) di CTC Global Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Responsibilities:

• Reviews comprehensive preventive maintenance reports

• Provides technical assistance to Level 1 engineers  

• Provides onsite or offsite support to customers

• Involved in department rotation standby roster 

• Leads project incident reports from technical perspective

• Prepares problem management reports

• Responsible to carry out complex installations (more than one technology)

• Performs project deployment

• Ensures project deployments are according to timelines

• Provides input to develop project documentation 

• Captures and updates project implementation technical issues for lessons learned

• Conducts project testing and commissioning with customers

• Updates installation tickets in a timely manner in Field Service Management System

• Updates timesheet in Intranet system timesheet

• To conduct a minimum of one knowledge sharing session

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience deploying and managing infrastructure

• Must be CCNA certified (Cisco Certified Network Associated), CCNP, CCNA-Security, CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, FireEye SE will be advantage.

• Familiar with network and security components and products such as Trend Micro, FireEye, Fortigate, PaloAlto, etc.

• Strong presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Qualified candidates should have well rounded experience with full network diagnosis, configuration and problem resolution.

• Advanced experience in troubleshooting layer 2 and 3 routing and switching issues

• Knowledge of protocol analysis tools used to troubleshoot layer 2 & 3 issues Technical Support for critical situations

• Protocol decoding and analysis using a variety of software tools e.g. sniffer, wireshark etc

• Demonstrated proficiency with Cisco switches and routers, Wireless LAN, Cisco ASA Firewall and network management and monitoring tools

• Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.

• Possess a positive attitude with strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team
