The product development engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving products to meet customer requirements and industry standards. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including design, test development engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful product development and launch. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Product Development Engineer Job Description
The product development engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving products to meet customer requirements and industry standards. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including design, test development engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful product development and launch. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Test Development leader together to drive test strategy, test plan, and characterization plan definition for NPI product development.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams throughout the product development process.
- Prepare technical documentation, including charac plans, test plans, hardware request document, test status report, and charac report.
- Conduct testing and analysis to validate product performance and compliance with standards.
- Manage sample testing, anticipate potential issues, and adjust processes to fulfill sample demand
- Identify and resolve technical issues during development and production.
- Support product launch activities and provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams.
- Evaluate and improve existing products to enhance cost efficiency, output, and quality by increasing yield, reducing test time, analyzing customer returns and test coverage improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or a related field.
- Experience in product development, design, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in phyton and data analytic software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with industrial standard ATE (V93K, T2000, Uflex+..)
