Full Time BO Chargeman Jobs, Salary up to MYR 10,000 in Sunway Pristine Laundry Johor - Maukerja

Key Accountabilities

• Liaise proactively with TNB, DOSH, JKKP, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and other regulatory bodies to manage all necessary approvals, certifications, registrations, utility services, and statutory compliance in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Oversee and perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, including corrective and preventive maintenance of all electrical infrastructure—switchboards, circuit breakers, transformers, switchgears, and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) rooms, generator rooms, and chiller plant rooms.
• Ensure all mechanical and electrical systems (elevators, escalators, BAS, Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Fighting Systems, lighting systems, etc.) are maintained in safe, compliant, and operational condition, in full adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Conduct monthly Fire Alarm system tests or as instructed by the Building Manager. Provide assistance and oversight during Bomba and electrical inspections.
• Supervise all scheduled services to ensure compliance with operational procedures and instructions from the Building Manager or appointed company representatives.
• Monitor and manage the performance of appointed maintenance contractors, ensuring all tasks are executed in line with the manufacturer’s specifications and industry standards for systems such as chillers, cooling towers, pump motors, and AHUs.
• Ensure all operations and maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and ensure timely submission of documentation required by TNB, DOSH, JKKP, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and other authorities.
• Present technical reports and findings to senior management, and execute directives and assignments from the management team and Board of Directors as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Possess a valid BO Chargeman Certificate (minimum 11kV) issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia.

Relevant Experience

• Minimum of eight (8) years experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field, with proven supervisory responsibilities.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Electrical Supply Act, Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations, and IEE Wiring Requirements.
• Experience in troubleshooting and operating mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 standards will be considered an added advantage.

• Self-driven and able to work independently under pressure and tight timelines.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
