MYFutureJobs are currently assisting JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS (JDE) in sourcing a talented Project Manager to join their manufacturing plant in Johor Bahru.

This is a senior individual contributor role where you will own projects end-to-end — from concept and scoping through to commissioning — ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in scope across a high-volume FMCG manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Champion SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) compliance across all project installations, including LOTOTO, permit-to-work, and contractor management

Ensure project designs adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Sanitary Design standards

Lead full project lifecycle — pre-engineering scoping, CAPEX preparation, tender documentation, supplier management, and close-out

Manage purchase orders and invoice reconciliation via SAP

Track cost vs. budget and report actuals, commitments, and remaining spend monthly

Develop User Requirement Specifications (URS) and review Functional Design Specifications (FDS) with software engineers

Coordinate commissioning, qualification, and verification (CQV) procedures and ensure complete handover documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (minimum); Master's in Engineering, Project Management, or Industrial Management is a plus

Minimum 5 years of project management experience

Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience

Prior experience in F&B / FMCG production environments preferred

Proficiency in SAP for purchase order management

Strong CAPEX and stakeholder management track record
