The Production Team Leader- Machining is responsible for leading day-to-day manufacturing operations through Supervisors and Production Engineers. This role ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery, and OEE targets are consistently achieved. The position also requires strong people leadership, operational discipline, and hands-on problem-solving in a high-precision CNC machining environment.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Lead, develop and coach supervisors and production engineers
Coordinate daily activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Ensure accurate workforce deployment and machine capacity arrangements
Optimize production utilization and prioritization
Plan and organize training, competency development and employee development measures
Facilitate problem-solving processes and promote continuous improvement activities
Ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards
Own and drive OEE improvement across CNC lines
Work closely with Quality, Planning, Maintenance and Production Engineering
Oversee readiness and execution of NPI, process changes and production ramp-up activities
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, discipline and continues improvement among the team
Provide regular updates to management and monitor the assigned KPI’s
Minimum Qualification
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Experience in CNC machining, with at least 5 years in a machining industry.
Minimum 2-3 years in a leadership role (Senior Supervisor/ Lead Engineer).
Good knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
