Responsibilities

St. Giles Wembley Penang Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in the heart of historic George Town. Known for our exceptional service and warm hospitality, we pride ourselves on creating unforgettable experiences for both our international and local guests.

We are currently accepting applications for the Accounts Executive - Credit Officer cum Cost Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Credit Risk Management & Approvals
  • Responsible for Billing & Invoicing
  • Responsible for all Collections & Accounts Receivable Ledger Management
  • Handling Billing Disputes & Query Resolution
  • Reporting to Management for month-end reports
  • Preparing daily reports related to Food & Beverage cost
  • Prepare a month-end Food and Beverage Report

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of working experience in accounting, specifically handling Credit Control/AR and/or Cost Control, preferably within the hospitality/hotel industry.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel. Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) systems is highly advantageous.
  • Attributes: Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, excellent communication skills for handling disputes, and the ability to meet tight financial deadlines.
