Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the documentation and archiving processes for drawings related to completed parts, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Schedule and release production drawings while preparing material cutting drawings and effectively coordinating material supply.
  • Issue Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) for materials, finishing, and outsourcing as necessary, ensuring timely procurement.
  • Calculate material requirements for various jobs and monitor material status to guarantee availability aligns with production timelines.
  • Ensure production schedules are adhered to and proactively resolve any delays by collaborating with relevant departments to adjust plans as needed.
  • Manage finishing processes, including engraving, and supervise the handling of finished parts in the Quality Control (QC) department, ensuring adherence to scanning protocols.
  • Organize and store good finished parts on racks to maintain an efficient inventory system.
  • Maintain and regularly update production records, drawings, and tool inventory to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage invoices for AutoCount PI & SI, ensuring accurate financial documentation.
  • Monitor the Maps system for production flow, scheduling, and costing to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Cultivate effective collaboration with cross-functional departments to ensure a seamless workflow and timely resolution of production-related challenges.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with production software (e.g., AutoCount, Maps System) and experience in managing production schedules.
  • Ability to analyze production data and track performance metrics to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Experience in inventory control and materials management is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to coordinate between departments.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and addressing potential production delays or issues.
  • Passionate about work and committed to achieving production goals and maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
