About the Role
As an Energy Manager, you will play a critical role within our Facilities Engineering team. You will drive energy conservation projects, manage the ISO 50001 Energy Management System, and lead our carbon reduction framework—reducing operational costs, enhancing system performance, and supporting corporate ESG goals.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives on turning energy audits into actionable projects, managing full-cycle initiatives, and delivering measurable environmental and economic impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Systems: Develop, implement, and continuously optimize energy management policies and processes. Lead the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System at the plant level.
- Audits & Optimization: Conduct detailed energy audits to identify conservation opportunities in electromechanical, HVAC, compressed air, cooling/chilled water, and utility systems. Organize energy performance evaluations and baseline management.
- Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end energy-saving projects—from feasibility studies and technical evaluation to ROI analysis, execution, savings verification, and reporting.
- Carbon & ESG: Establish and manage the company's carbon reduction framework, including carbon inventory, emissions reduction roadmap planning, project execution, and carbon certification to meet ESG and supply chain requirements.
- Data Management: Build and maintain energy and carbon data management systems (EMS/BMS), covering data design, collection, analysis, and standardized reporting to support decision-making and customer audits.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Maintenance, Operations, and Finance teams. Lead coordination with key customers on energy management and carbon reduction requirements, including audit preparation and on-site support.
- Training & Compliance: Organize training programs on energy management and carbon reduction to enhance team capabilities. Comply with EHS policies and participate in required programs.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Degree in Energy & Power Engineering, Building Environment, HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Certification: Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) / Certified Energy Manager (CEM) required.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on energy management experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment (lithium battery, new energy, electronics manufacturing, semiconductor, or precision manufacturing is a strong plus).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of industrial utility systems (power distribution, compressed air, HVAC, chilled water, purified water, steam/hot water, wastewater).
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success delivering measurable energy-saving projects, including energy diagnostics, solution design, and post-implementation verification. Experience in high energy-consuming plants is preferred.
- Systems & Tools: Hands-on experience with ISO 50001, carbon accounting/reduction processes, energy sub-metering, EMS/BMS, data analysis, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Office suite.
- Soft Skills: Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, systems thinking, and excellent communication/report-writing abilities. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Why Apply?
- Be part of a Facilities Engineering team where your work directly supports sustainable industrial growth.
- Contribute to meaningful reductions in carbon footprint and operational excellence within a global clean energy leader.
- Opportunity to grow with an industry pioneer committed to a greener future.
If you are driven by efficiency, innovation, and sustainability—and you hold a REEM/CEM certification with a passion for measurable impact—we want to hear from you!
