Job Title: Radiographer

Department: Radiology / Imaging

Reports To: Medical Officer / Clinic Manager

Job Summary

The Radiographer is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays and ensuring high-quality imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort. The role includes handling occupational health screening imaging such as FOMEMA X-rays in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (e.g., X-ray) as requested by doctors.

* Conduct FOMEMA chest X-ray examinations for foreign worker medical screening in accordance with FOMEMA guidelines.

* Ensure correct patient identification and proper positioning during imaging procedures.

* Verify patient details and documentation for FOMEMA submissions.

* Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.

* Maintain radiation protection standards for patients, staff, and self.

* Ensure all images meet quality standards before submission, especially for FOMEMA cases.

* Upload and submit FOMEMA X-ray results accurately within the required timeframe.

* Assist doctors in interpreting images when required.

* Maintain and manage imaging records and documentation.

* Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of imaging equipment.

* Follow infection control procedures and clinic safety policies.

* Provide professional and compassionate care to patients.

* Report any equipment malfunction or safety issues immediately.

Requirements

* Diploma or Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging.

* Valid certification/license (if required by local authorities).

* Experience in performing chest X-ray (FOMEMA experience is an advantage).

* Knowledge of FOMEMA procedures and submission requirements.

* Good knowledge of radiation safety and imaging techniques.

* Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
