We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer (Civil & Structural) to manage and oversee civil and structural works at our solar construction sites. This role ensures all activities are executed safely, in compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and within project timelines and budget.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Coordination
- Plan and coordinate civil & structural works including site preparation, foundations, and structural installations
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with overall project schedules and milestones
Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise civil works such as earthworks, piling, foundations, drainage, control buildings, and access roads
- Ensure structural installations (e.g., mounting structures) meet design specifications
- Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, and site progress
Quality Assurance & Control
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards
- Review materials, test reports, and as-built drawings
- Ensure all works meet required engineering and quality standards
HSE Compliance
- Ensure compliance with site safety and environmental requirements
- Work closely with the HSE team to enforce safety practices and regulations
Cost Control & Reporting
- Monitor civil works costs and project progress
- Assist in preparing progress reports, variation orders, and claims
Liaison & Regulatory Compliance
- Liaise with local authorities, CIDB, DOE, and other regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with permits, approvals, and statutory requirements
RequirementsEducation & Certification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural preferred)
- Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as Graduate Engineer
- Valid CIDB Green Card
- Professional Engineer (PE) is an advantage
- Certification in site safety or construction management is an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction projects
- Experience in solar or infrastructure projects is preferred
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of civil & structural engineering principles
- Experience in earthworks, piling, foundation, drainage, and structural systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documents
- Familiarity with Malaysian construction standards and codes
- Knowledge of QA/QC processes and testing procedures
- Understanding of soil investigation and geotechnical reports
- Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,600.00 per month
