Company Description My-Robot Medini - Robotics & Coding Academy provides a structured, hands-on curriculum for learners aged 5 to 17. The academy focuses on robotics, coding, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), helping students build both technical and problem-solving skills. Courses are designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with STEM education goals. My-Robot Medini emphasizes practical learning, creativity, and collaboration to prepare young learners for future technology-driven opportunities.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Robotics & Coding Intern Instructor role based in Iskandar Puteri. The Intern Instructor will assist in planning and delivering robotics, coding, and basic AI lessons for students aged 5 to 17, following the academy’s curriculum and teaching guidelines. Daily tasks include preparing teaching materials, setting up and testing robotics kits and computers, and guiding students through hands-on projects and exercises. The role also involves monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting classroom management to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment. The Intern Instructor will collaborate with senior instructors, participate in training sessions, and help with workshops, events, and demonstrations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Foundational skills in Robotics and STEM, with interest in educational robotics and technology-based learning.
  • Basic Programming skills (e.g., block-based coding or introductory text-based languages) and willingness to learn new tools and platforms.
  • Strong Communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to children and collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
  • Training or teaching aptitude, with the ability to facilitate activities, guide group work, and support diverse learning styles.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Education, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Patience, enthusiasm for working with children, and a commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Iskandar Puteri, including weekends or school holidays if required for classes or events.
