About the role

EPG Data Center Module Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our engineering team in Senai, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, optimisation and implementation of industrial processes. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality and safety whilst minimising costs and environmental impact. This role is integral to our operations and directly contributes to the company's commitment to delivering excellence in engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

1. Design, develop and optimise industrial processes to improve efficiency, productivity and quality

2. Conduct process assessments and feasibility studies for new projects and operational improvements

3. Create detailed process flow diagrams, specifications and technical documentation

4. Implement process changes and monitor their effectiveness through data collection and analysis

5. Troubleshoot process issues and identify root causes to prevent recurrence

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance and quality departments

7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards

8. Perform cost-benefit analyses and recommend process enhancements to reduce operational expenses

9. Conduct training sessions to support staff in understanding and executing new or modified processes

10. Maintain and update process documentation and standard operating procedures

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline

2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in process engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment

3. Strong knowledge of process design principles, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics

4. Proficiency with process simulation software and engineering design tools such as ASPEN, HYSYS or similar applications

5. Experience with process safety management and hazard analysis (HAZOP, FMEA)

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data

7. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

8. Attention to detail and commitment to quality and continuous improvement

9. Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the manufacturing sector

10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software is advantageous
