Job description:

• Perform incoming inspection of components, materials, and parts according to inspection criteria, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Conduct in-process and final quality inspections of optical modules to ensure products meet quality standards and basic functional requirements.
• Identify, record, and report defects, non-conformances, and inspection results accurately using inspection reports, checklists, or quality systems.
• Support QA/QC Engineers in root cause analysis, containment actions, corrective actions, and quality improvement activities.
• Operate, handle, and perform basic maintenance of inspection tools, measuring equipment, and testing equipment.
• Ensure all inspection activities comply with company SOPs, quality procedures, ISO standards, and customer requirements.
• Assist in internal audits, line audits, product audits, and process quality checks as assigned.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, and QA teams to highlight, follow up, and resolve quality issues.
• Monitor product quality status and assist in preparing quality data, inspection records, and related documentation.
• Participate in on-the-job training and quality-related training programs to improve technical knowledge and inspection skills.
• Maintain good housekeeping, 5S, safety, and ESD practices in the inspection area.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality Control, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of working experience in quality control, quality inspection, or manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of optical modules, electronic components, semiconductor, or manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with inspection tools, measuring equipment, testing equipment, and basic quality documentation.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to detect defects and quality abnormalities accurately.
• Willing to work on the production floor and perform hands-on inspection tasks.
• Basic communication skills and ability to work well with team members from Production, Engineering, and QA departments.
• Willing to learn quality tools, inspection procedures, and problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, ESD control, 5S, or controlled manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
