Test Operations Manager

Job Function:

Assist Test Engineering Sr Manager / Test Operation Director, plans, organizes, directs and manages line Maintenance Engineers, Product Engineers on day to day operation. Lead yield improvement, test program issue troubleshooting, solving setup / product related issue, coordinate and solving test equipment (tester and handler) issue, driving and hosting meeting update with top management and customer; and performs test engineering related duties as required.

Responsible for providing test engineering support to ensure an effective and productive operation to meet Test KPI on OEE, SOD, Quality and Yield.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Develop and strategize department goals, objectives and target in-line with company policy and KPI.
2. Lead a team of product engineering and line maintenance people to achieve the month’s forecast and to maximize the revenue and profitability.
3. Drive engineering and line maintenance area on maximizing capacity and performance output.
4. Continuously driving, develop and seek for product quality, productivity and cost improvement.
5. Improvise productivity plan and make recommendation to improve efficiency.
6. Manage new product start-up and volume production within timeline.
7. Lead operational projects to timely completion.
8. Manage resources to fulfill project requirements.
9. Responsible for housekeeping, safety and discipline of staff in the engineering and line maintenance area.
10. Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Qualification & Experience:

Degree in related discipline with min 8 years relevant working experience or equivalent;
