Job Purpose
The Warehouse Executive is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, coordinating the receipt and issuance of materials, maintaining proper storage practices, and ensuring all warehouse activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations
- Manage the daily operations of the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Ensure timely issuance of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all inventory.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/Inventory system.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and annual physical stock takes.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with the Purchasing Department.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare Goods Received Notes (GRN), Delivery Orders (DO), Material Requisition Forms (MRF), and other warehouse documents.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of warehouse transactions.
- Prepare inventory reports, stock movement reports, and monthly warehouse reports.
Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Sales, and Transport teams for material movements.
- Arrange loading and unloading activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of finished goods according to customer schedules.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, warehouse procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping (5S) within the warehouse.
- Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage, deterioration, or loss.
- Report any safety hazards, damaged goods, or warehouse incidents immediately.
Team Coordination
- Supervise warehouse assistants, storekeepers, and forklift operators (where applicable).
- Provide guidance and training on warehouse procedures.
- Assist in scheduling daily warehouse activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse or inventory management experience (manufacturing experience is an advantage).
- Good knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Forklift operation knowledge or certification is an added advantage.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,648.22 per month
