Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling products according to established work instructions, maintaining high quality standards, troubleshooting assembly issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly operations for products according to approved work instructions, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures.
- Follow the correct assembly sequence to ensure products are assembled accurately and meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly issues, perform rework when required, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
- Identify process, material, fixture, or equipment issues that may affect production efficiency and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Perform daily cleaning and basic maintenance of assembly fixtures and equipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation by practicing 5S before, during, and after each shift.
- Ensure assembly tools, fixtures, and equipment are properly organized, maintained, and stored after use.
- Read and interpret engineering schematics, assembly drawings, technical specifications, and datasheets to support assembly activities.
- Assist in troubleshooting, failure analysis, root cause investigation, and repair of non-conforming products.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including assembly records, maintenance logs, and failure analysis reports.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (CIP), and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to achieve production targets and customer requirements.
Job Requirements
- Possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- No prior working experience is required as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
OR
- Possess a Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.
- Candidates must have 2–3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, equipment maintenance, or a related technical environment.
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of assembly processes, manufacturing equipment, and quality standards is an advantage.
- Experience in troubleshooting, product rework, and equipment maintenance is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
