Job Responsibilities

As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for performing testing activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring products meet the company's quality standards. You will work closely with the Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Quality teams to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing activities on units under test using the company's designated test platforms and equipment.
• Execute test sequences according to established work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot and perform debugging on units with minor test failures to ensure timely resolution.
• Identify process, material, or equipment issues that may affect production efficiency and product quality, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of test fixtures and manufacturing equipment in accordance with work instructions.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment by practicing 5S before, during, and after each shift.
• Ensure all test tools, fixtures, and equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and stored after use.
• Read and interpret engineering schematics, assembly drawings, technical documents, and datasheets to support testing, troubleshooting, and fixture assembly.
• Assist in root cause analysis, failure analysis, rework, and repair of non-conforming products.
• Prepare and document detailed failure analysis reports and maintenance records as required.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (CIP), and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets, quality objectives, and customer requirements.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• No prior working experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided.

OR

• Possess a Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.
• Candidates must have 2–3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing, production, equipment maintenance, testing, or assembly operations.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment or electronic testing equipment will be an added advantage.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and quality control processes is an advantage.
