Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits, PCB layouts, and component specifications using industry-standard tools and software
• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic systems to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, quality assurance, and manufacturing to ensure successful project implementation
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, schematics, and design reports for internal stakeholders and clients
• Identify potential design improvements and optimisations to enhance system efficiency and reduce costs
• Conduct prototype testing and provide recommendations for design modifications
• Stay updated with the latest developments in electronic components, materials, and manufacturing techniques
• Support the manufacturing and production phases by troubleshooting technical issues and providing on-site engineering support
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in electronics design and development, ideally within a manufacturing or technology environment
• Strong proficiency with electronic design automation (EDA) software such as Altium Designer, KiCAD, or similar tools
• Solid understanding of circuit theory, digital and analogue electronics, and microcontroller applications
• Experience with PCB design, layout, and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of electronics testing equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analysers
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to electronics engineering
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Preferred: experience with embedded systems, signal processing, or IoT applications
• Preferred: certification in relevant engineering disciplines or professional memberships

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
