• Develop comprehensive structural designs for buildings, infrastructure, and other construction projects using industry-standard software and methodologies
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure designs meet engineering codes and safety standards
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for construction teams
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural requirements into overall project designs
• Review and evaluate structural proposals and alternative design solutions to optimise cost-effectiveness and constructability
• Perform site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing structures and identify design considerations
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
• Provide technical support during construction and respond to design queries from contractors and site teams
• Maintain detailed project documentation and records throughout the design process

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in structural design and engineering
• Proficiency with structural design software such as AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of building codes and standards relevant to Malaysia and international practices
• Solid understanding of structural analysis principles, load calculations, and material properties
• Excellent technical drawing and documentation skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent qualification is highly desirable
• Experience with building information modelling (BIM) is an advantage

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
